As soon as I had a memory as a human being, I wanted a horse.
I was allowed one souvenir on our family vacations and mine was always, yes you guessed it, a horse. At an early age I started begging my parents for a horse of my own, but the answer was that we could not afford it.
When the traveling photographer roamed the neighborhood with his paint pony taking pictures of the kids, I followed them as far as I was allowed to go. You can only image my bliss when we moved into a suburb that backed up to a farm that housed Mac the Shetland pony. I made sure those two farm kids were my best friends and we galloped bareback two at a time across the fields.
When I was 13, I babysat so much that I not only could afford to buy an inexpensive quarter horse but could afford the $20 board at the farm next door. And then life happened and as I went off to college, the horses became a memory. But, as you know, the passion for these four-legged creatures never goes away, and soon I was taking professional hunter lessons with my 8 year old daughter who inherited the disease.
Now we have two facilities and trainers showing at the top levels in hunters and jumpers. We know horses very well and can help you find that perfect equine soul mate. Let us know what your goals and dreams are and we can help you achieve them.
